Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration is designed to provide students with the interdisciplinary and interdepartmental training necessary for professional careers in finance, management, or administration. It will enable the student with an undergraduate degree in a non-business field, as well as a student with a degree in business, to qualify for higher positions in business or government.
The MBA program consists of 27 hours of foundation courses (undergraduate level) and 33 hours of graduate courses. Foundation courses may be waived for students who have completed equivalent courses with at least a "C". Foundation courses may be taken after admission to the graduate program.

Asmissions
A satisfactory grade point average, a satisfactory GMAT score, and a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution are required. Admission may be either conditional or unconditional.
Residence Requirements
A minimum of 24 semester hours of graduate credit is required to be taken in residence.
Transfer Credit
A maximum of 9 semester hours of graduate credit may be transferred from other regionally accredited institutions, if the grades earned are "B" or better, and the credit is accepted in fulfillment of requirements for the MBA degree. No correspondence credit is applicable toward the MBA degree. Graduate transfer credit is normally limited to work completed within the past six years.
Grade Point Requirements
A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on graduate credit pursued is required for the degree. No grade lower than "C" and no more than two "C's" will count toward the degree. All courses pursued for graduate credit will be counted in the grade point average. Graduate status will be lost if the cumulative or quarterly grade point average falls below 3.0 for three consecutive quarters of matriculation.
Time Limit for the Degree
A time limit for the completion of all requirements for the master's degree has been set at 6 consecutive calendar years from the time of initial enrollment.
